Greenery

In the winter of 2024,amid the vibtant greenery visible through the transparent car window,I journeyed from the distant city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan to Chenzhou City,China—a place embraced by lush trees and verdant mountains.Prior to my departure,I had searched for"Chenzhou"online.Yet,the scattered descriptions offered no clear picture of the city's true appearance.However,as I finally set foot on Chenzhou's land,it was the lush greenery that struck me first.

Upon arriving in Chenzhou,to stay in touch with my family conveniently,I headed to Wuling Square to get a SIM card.Even in the heart of this bustling metropolis,Chenzhou is never short of green adornments.Amidst the towering skyscrapers,there lies an abundance of verdant greenery,together forming a harmonious melody.Eager to share my initial impression,I excitedly informed my family,"This is a city of beautiful mountains and clear waters."

Warmth

The essence of Chenzhou lies in its spiciness.The local delicacies,with their fiery flavors,are so delicious that I can't help but indulge in them repeatedly.The classmates here are as warm as fire,making me feel incredibly welcomed.My classmate,Mou Bowen,is a prime example of such warmth.He not only assists me in learning Chinese but also guides me in exploring the charm of this city.Through my classmates,I discovered that Chenzhou boasts numerous popular attractions,such as Gaoyiling and Dongjiang Lake.I learned to greet my friends in Chinese:"Hello.The weather today is truly pleasant,neither cold nor hot."

To gain a deeper understanding of Chenzhou,my classmates and I visited the Chenzhou Museum together.There,I was captivated by the specimen of the unique Mangshan pit viper from Mangshan,the bronze sword dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period,and the"flames"that roared during ancient metal smelting.These exhibits held me spellbound for a long time.

Guided by my aspiration to learn Chinese and my longing for Chinese culture,I chose Chenzhou as my place of study.In return,Chenzhou,with its distinctive natural scenery,architectural style,delectable food,and warm-hearted people,has allowed me to develop a more authentic and heartfelt understanding of China.

My dear family and friends back in my hometown,

This city of Chenzhou,where greenery and warmth intertwine,I will share its stories with you one by one when I complete my studies and return.

2024年冬，当一棵棵绿树快速掠过透明的车窗，我从遥远的吉尔吉斯斯坦奥什市，跨越千山万水，来到了中国郴州市——一座被绿树和青山环绕的城市。

在启程前，我曾经在网络上搜索“郴州”，但零星片段的描述，让我难以勾勒出这座城市的真实面貌。然而，当我真正踏上郴州的土地时，绿是它给我的第一印象。

抵达郴州后，为了方便与家人联系，我前往五岭广场办理了一张电话卡。即便身处繁华的城市中心，郴州也未曾缺失绿色的点缀。高楼大厦间，绿意盎然，共同谱写着和谐的乐章。

我迫不及待地与家人分享，兴奋地告诉他们：“这是一座山清水秀的城市。”

火

郴州的味道，是火辣的。这里的美食热辣可口，让我欲罢不能；这里的同学热情如火，让我倍感温暖。我的同学牟博文，就是这样一个热心肠的人。他不仅帮助我学习中文，还引领我探索这座城市的魅力。

在同学们的口中，我知道了郴州拥有许多热门景点，如高椅岭、东江湖……

我学会了用中文向朋友们打招呼：“你好，今天天气真好，不冷不热。”

为了更加深入地了解郴州，我和同学们一同参观了郴州市博物馆。在那里，我看到了莽山特有的烙铁头蛇标本、春秋时期的青铜剑，以及古代冶炼金属时熊熊燃烧的“火焰”。我被这些深深吸引，久久驻足。

怀揣着学习中文的愿望和对中国文化的向往，我选择了郴州作为我的求学之地。而郴州，也以它独特的自然风光、建筑风格、美食和热情的人们，让我对中国有了更加真实和温暖的了解。

我家乡的家人和朋友们，郴州这座绿意和火热相交融的城市，等我学成归来慢慢地向你们讲述它。
